Cleaning: The surface must be thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, dirt, oil, paint residues, and other contaminants.
Cleaning of Weak Concrete and Detached Parts: If there are weak or detached concrete pieces, these areas should be cleaned and reinforced with appropriate repair materials.
Smoothing the Surface: Before application, it is important to smooth the surface. This ensures the mortar adheres properly. Worn or rough surfaces should be corrected, if necessary, with a special primer or leveling coat.
Moisture Control: The moisture content of the surface should be checked before applying. In most cases, the moisture content should be below a certain level. Excess moisture can affect the adhesion and hardening properties of the mortar.
Surface Should Not Be Wet: Before application, make sure the surface is not wet. Wet surfaces negatively affect the adhesion ability of the mortar.

25 Kg. Pratech®RP20 Thick Repair Mortar should be poured slowly over approximately 5.50 Lt. water and mixed thoroughly until the mixture has a homogeneous consistency. Apply the prepared thin repair mortar evenly on the application area using a trowel or a trowel-like tool. Care should be taken to spread the mortar homogeneously on the surface. After the mortar is applied, the mortar should be leveled and shaped using a trowel or spatula. This step ensures that the mortar surface is flat and in the desired form.

Protect your skin, eyes and respiratory system when working with mortar. When mixing mortar, use a low speed mixer to minimize dust formation. When preparing mortar indoors, ensure adequate ventilation or use a respiratory mask. Use clean and dry containers for mixing the mortar. Do not add any foreign matter to the mortar. Do not apply mortar in extremely hot or cold weather.
